Gemini Omni Flash
Gemini Omni Flash is Google's second video line after Veo, announced at Google I/O on 19 May 2026 and rolled to Gemini app users the same day: a model that generates and edits video conversationally rather than from one prompt. The Gemini API got it in public preview on 30 June, and Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash followed on 27 August 2026 with scene extension, first-and-last-frame interpolation, reference clips and selectable resolutions. On fal the Flash endpoint makes 720p clips of 3 to 10 seconds with sound at $0.13 a second.

Anvisha's take
Gemini Omni Flash is fast, cheap enough and changes things. The title card is crisp with light beams behind it, the woman speaks well, and the woodblock lighthouse got a lightning strike. But the turntable clip cut to a close-up of the inside of the dripper and back, and the image-to-video clip gave our plain dripper a handle and filled it with coffee, which is a different product. Its self-portrait, a grinning white robot making a latte, is the most on-brand hero in the set. Use it for talking-through edits; check the product before you ship it.

What we noticed running Gemini Omni Flash

What Gemini Omni Flash will not make
Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy applies: no sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, violent extremism, self-harm, hate, harassment or deceptive depictions of real people, and no adult mode. Every clip carries an invisible SynthID watermark, and fal exposes a safety_tolerance dial from 1 to 6 that operates inside the same policy.
